Also firefox can be configured to dump its ram usage every time you minimize the main FF window.To do that you need to follow these directions
open a new tab, in the URL bar, type in
about:config ( and then press enter)
Right click in the window and create a New–> Boolean ,
name this new Boolean "config.trim_on_minimize"

Importing in Picasa on Upload

So apparently Picasa doesn’t like it when you use the /prefetch:1 parameter in Windows XP. This was the cause of the import tray loadingas well as missing folders. Don’t use prefetch!

“Invalid BOOT.ini” message

Here's how I fixed the invalid boot.ini problem (Windows XP Pro).
The reason this occurs, I suspect, is that the original boot.ini file gets corrupted somehow. In my case, I had a system lockup. When it rebooted, I started getting the invalid boot.ini message.
